Solvex Metallic Thinner is a mixture of volatile organic liquids. It is used with base enamels with metallic and pearlescent effects in car repair. This product is recommended for use when painting medium-sized surfaces, such as a car door or hood, at normal temperatures. It is also suitable for use when painting large surfaces, such as a car side or for repainting the entire car, at low temperatures (less than +18 °C). The optimal application temperature range is between +15 and +25 °C. Solvex Metallic Thinner provides optimal "grain" spreadability and stabilization of the paint film, eliminating the defect of "milkiness" staining on complex and light colors. It provides standard drying of the paint coating, has a medium dilution ratio, and can be used for cleaning painting equipment and degreasing metal surfaces. It is imperative that the instructions provided by the paint manufacturer for the preparation of the working mixture be strictly followed when diluting. The thinner should be added gradually to the working mixture, which should then be mixed thoroughly by hand or mechanically until it reaches a homogeneous consistency.

Any work with the thinner should be carried out in an outdoor area or a room with through (induced) ventilation. It is imperative that the appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, a respirator, goggles, and overalls, be utilized, and that all industrial sanitation requirements be observed.
