Ultimax 646 solvent is a blend of aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, alcohols and esters.

Applications

Ultimax 646 Solvent is used in manufacturing to dilute glyphthalic and epoxy primer, nitro enamels, nitro pak and general purpose nitro fillers. The use of Ultimax 646 solvent is simply necessary when it comes to changing the viscosity of substances. This solvent is capable of diluting glyptal, nitrocellulose, epoxy, melaninoamide paints and coatings, as well as putties. However, the excellent physico-chemical properties of this substance can be used for many other purposes. Ultimax 646 solvent is not only used as a paint thinner, it is also an excellent degreaser, it is used as a surface gloss enhancer, it normalizes the process of film formation of paint and varnish materials, it is used for cleaning painting equipment and tools, and also perfectly removes old paint and varnish layers. This makes it a very practical and popular product in the modern market of paints and varnishes. Ultimax 646 solvent according to GOST 18188-72 is a flammable liquid with a characteristic odor, which has a strong irritant effect on the skin, the mucous membrane of the eyes and upper respiratory tract. In this regard, the work with the solvent is carried out in rubber gloves in a well-ventilated area. At hit of solvent on skin wash it off with a large amount of water with soap.
